Attachment Parenting

Building family cohesiveness is enhanced with nurturing relationships with your children

How we treat our children from birth creates the dynamic of the family relationship. Attachment parenting is a philosophy that focusses on the family as a nurturing team that is always present. This is the foundation that the family is built on.

This phrase was originally used in the wonderful The Baby Book by William and Martha Sears.

Two other great books about child rearing in this fashion are Continuum Concept by Jean Liedloff and The Attachment Parenting Book by William and Martha Sears. There are many others as well after you have read these three.

Instead of trying to effectively paraphrase these wonderful sources, we would instead encourage you to grab a copy from your favorite new or used book store.
